Hi, I'm Laura.

I can’t remember ever not baking. I got my first taste for creating delicious baked goods alongside my mom in her Michigan kitchen. It was here, that my passion grew. Growing up in rural Michigan, I was surrounded by farms of every kind and quickly realized what a difference fresh, quality ingredients added to my creations. My passion and hunger to learn more eventually took me to the Great Lakes Culinary Institute.

My love for fresh ingredients and eye for quality grew as I explored different culinary ventures, working in both restaurants and bakeries. I started to find my niche and fell in love with the creative process of baking and crafting beautiful confections.

These days you can find me baking up test batches on the lakes of Wisconsin, exploring the wilds of Northern Michigan with my boyfriend John, and creating dog-friendly treats for our fur babes, Jaxx and Vinny.
